Nathan S.M. Knapp is an screenwriter, director, and author. His directorial debut, The Devil's Door, was completed in July 2022 with the expected release date in the Fall of 2022. 

 

His debut novel, Orphans of Liberty, is a near-future action thriller. His short fiction has appeared in the literary magazine One Throne and the horror anthology Death & Pestilence. His short fiction has been nominated for the Journey Prize (a national literary award for debut short fiction).

 

In addition to writing, Nathan enjoys cycling, reading, and watching movies. You can hear his thoughts on literature and film by watching/listening to his podcast (Ignore The Bell). He has a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Education, and a Master of Arts in English Literature.
